Tamale Eye Hospital Team Conducts School Screening at Fachi Little Flower
Last week, the Tamale Eye Hospital team carried out a successful school screening exercise at Fachi Little Flower. The program, held over two days, was aimed at promoting eye health among school children and ensuring early detection of vision-related issues.
During the exercise, the team screened over 473 students and 50 teachers, providing professional eye checks, identifying individuals with potential sight challenges, and offering guidance on the next steps for treatment and care.

This initiative reflects Tamale Eye Hospital’s continuous commitment to safeguarding the eye health of children, teachers, and the wider community. The school authorities and students expressed their gratitude for the intervention, noting its importance in supporting learning, teaching, and overall wellbeing.

Tamale Eye Hospital invites schools, organizations, and institutions to partner with us for similar programs. Together, we can promote better eye health and brighter futures.
